Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA) and the visiting North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Hampton's basketball squad hold off North Hills by a tally of 55-48.

With the victory, Hampton improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Talbots travel to Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA) to play the Golden Rams in a WPIAL 4A 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Golden Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-0.

Next up, the Indians play the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. North Hills will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
