The Horizon Prep Lions basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting High Tech NC Raptor to 27 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gompers Prep Academy for a Patriot contest on Tuesday, January 3. Horizon Prep will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Raptor (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA). The Tritons come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
