West Virginia High School Basketball - Preston nipped by Lincoln

The Lincoln Cougars tipped the visiting Preston Knights basketball team by a final score of 46-43 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Tuesday, January 3. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 71-61 non-league loss to Wicomico (Salisbury, MD).
