New York High School Basketball - Moriah overwhelms Plattsburgh

December 28, 2022: Port Henry, NY 12974

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) and the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY), saw Moriah's basketball squad wallop Plattsburgh by a tally of 71-34.

With the victory, Moriah improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY) to play the Patriots in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. AuSable Valley lost 72-42 in their recent league challenge against Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY)

Next up, the Hornets play the Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Plattsburgh will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
