Arizona High School Basketball - Maryvale ripped by Alhambra

The Alhambra Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Maryvale Panthers to 35 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a 6A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 10. Alhambra will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 63-31 non-league loss to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.
The Panthers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Browne was routed by West Point (Avondale, AZ), 68-14, in a non-league contest.
