North Carolina High School Basketball - Ayden - Grifton ripped by New Bern

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting New Bern Bears basketball team scored a decisive 53-24 triumph over the Ayden - Grifton Chargers.

In their next game, the Bears meet the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 29. New Bern will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC).

With the defeat, Ayden - Grifton moves to 1-8 on the year. The Chargers travel to Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC) to meet the Generals in a non-league match on Thursday, December 29. The Generals enter the match with a record of 6-5. Wayne Preparatory Academy won 41-38 in their recent non-league match against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC)
