In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ) basketball squad nipped the host Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ), by a margin of 42-38.

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ). The Spartans go into the Cape/Atlantic - National outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Holy Spirit got by St. Hubert Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA), 56-20, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oakcrest for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3. Bridgeton will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 43-17 non-league win over Bensalem (Bensalem, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
