In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 64-27.
The Blue Devils (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Newark Academy smashed Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ), 53-43, in a non-league outing.
The Red Raiders now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Payne Tech for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3. East Side will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 56-30 non-league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
