With the victory, La Porte improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Texas City (Texas City, TX) to confront the Stingarees in a 5A Region III District 18 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Stingarees come into the challenge with a record of 9-11.

Next up, the Broncos confront the Porter Spartans (Porter, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
