In Wednesday's league outing, the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA), by a count of 50-24.
The Meteors (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Chiefs go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Lakeland smashed Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA), 61-29, in a league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a Lackawanna 4 outing on Monday, January 2. Elk Lake will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 52-16 non-league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
