The Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball knocked off the host Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR), 38-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Boulder City notched a victory over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV), 63-14, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Marion for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Scappoose will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 67-31 non-league loss to Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 1-7.
