In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Fillmore Flashes soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Rio Mesa Spartans.
The Flashes (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Malibu (Malibu, CA). The Sharks come into the Citrus Coast battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Malibu was nudged by Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record.
