The Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) basketball felled the host Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 47-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (2-9) will now prepare for their test against South Garner (Garner, NC). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, South Garner thwarted Garner (Garner, NC), 75-28, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Athens Drive for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Sanderson will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-4.
