The West Rowan Falcons ran past the visiting South Rowan Raiders basketball team by a final score of 40-25 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 6. West Rowan will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 7-2 record after their 66-28 non-league win over Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC).
With the defeat, South Rowan moves to 1-8 on the year. The Raiders host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 4. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-5.
