In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mater Dei Monarchs soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Costa Mesa Mustangs.
The Monarchs (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, St. John Bosco nudged Whittier (Whittier, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
