The Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) basketball nipped the host IDEA North Mission (Mission, TX), 51-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Coyotes (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region IV District 31 test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Calallen got by Mathis (Mathis, TX), 57-52, in a non-league test.
The now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to IDEA College Prep for a 3A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, January 2. IDEA North Mission will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 52-23 league loss to IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX). The Griffins record now stands at 0-7.
