The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Izard County Cougars to 59 in the Timberwolves non-league victory on Thursday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osceola for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Cedar Ridge will battle a Seminoles team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Seminoles record now stands at 6-11.
The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Bearkatz come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Melbourne was nudged by Osceola (Osceola, AR), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
