With the win, Toms River North upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mariners host Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Holmdel won 67-41 in their recent non-league bout against Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Central Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 73-52 non-league win over Tottenville (Staten Island, NY).
