The Clay City Eels basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting North Central Thunderbirds to 44 in the Eels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eels now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverton Parke for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Clay City will battle a Panthers team coming off a 44-35 non-league loss to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
The Thunderbirds (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Riverton Parke was routed by Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
