California High School Basketball - Mt. Shasta edges Fall River

December 28, 2023: Mt. Shasta, CA 96067

The Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), 58-57 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bears (11-4) will now prepare for their test against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, University Prep got by McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA), 65-62, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Modoc for a Shasta Cascade test on Tuesday, January 9. Fall River will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Braves record now stands at 4-9.
