Minot Magicians (Minot, ND) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fargo Davies Eagles (Fargo, ND), 72-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minot upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Magicians travel to More (Rapid City, SD) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 6-0.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND) in a AA East bout, on Friday, January 5. Fargo Davies will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 72-62 non-league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN).
