Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming can't hold off Godwin

The Godwin Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Fleming Colonels to 64 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langley for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Godwin will battle a Saxons team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 4-6.
The Colonels (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, North Stafford was edged by Langley (McLean, VA), 57-45, in a non-league bout.
