The Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Floodwood Polar Bears to 11 in the Huskies non-league victory on Thursday.
The Huskies now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ogilvie for a A Section 5 contest on Thursday, January 4.
The Polar Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against McGregor (McGregor, MN). The Mercuries come into the A Section 7 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, McGregor was routed by Carlton/Wrenshall (Carlton, MN), 76-39, in a league contest.
