The Fredericktown Black Cats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting North County Raiders to 39 in the Black Cats league victory on Thursday.
The Black Cats now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ste. Genevieve for a Mineral Area - Large contest on Friday, December 29. Fredericktown will battle a Dragons team coming off a 77-54 non-league win over Perryville (Perryville, MO). The Dragons record now stands at 3-6.
The Raiders (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Festus, MO). The Blue Jays come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Jefferson prevailed over Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
