Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) and the visiting Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA), saw Glenwood's basketball squad wallop Southland Academy by a tally of 74-38.

With the victory, Glenwood improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Gators host Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Deerfield-Windsor won 42-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Southland Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
