The Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA), 71-30 in Thursday's league test.
The Mustangs (14-10) will now prepare for their test against Oberlin (Oberlin, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, Oberlin walloped South Cameron (Creole, LA), 59-34, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Iota for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Johnson Bayou will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-54 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.
