Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX), 76-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seguin upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Matadors host Tivy (Kerrville, TX) to clash with the Antlers in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Saturday, December 30. The Antlers go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Tivy lost 79-58 in their recent non-league bout against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 bout, on Friday, December 29. Harlandale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 67-39 non-league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX).
