California High School Basketball - Bethel topples Oakland

In Thursday's non-league bout, the Bethel Jaguars (Vallejo, CA) basketball squad overcame the host Oakland Wildcats (Oakland, CA), by a count of 49-40.

With the victory, Bethel upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Augusta Christian won 65-57 in their recent non-league bout against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Oakland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
