In Thursday's league outing, the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Windom Eagles (Windom, MN), by a margin of 71-64.

The Fighting Saints (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats go into the AA Section 3 outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, New London-Spicer held off Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN), 71-66, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to MACCRAY for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. Windom will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 75-61 non-league loss to Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-3.
