New Jersey High School Basketball - Point Pleasant Beach can't hold off Lacey Township

The Lacey Township Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls to 50 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shore Regional for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Lacey Township will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 55-13 non-league loss to Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-2.
The Garnet Gulls (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ). The Bishops enter the Shore B - Central contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Asbury Park nudged Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ), 55-13, in a non-league contest.
