UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mobile Christian Leopards (Mobile, AL), 60-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, UMS-Wright Prep upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host Jackson (Jackson, AL) to clash with the Aggies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Jackson won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Mobile Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 72-41 non-league loss to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL).
