In Thursday's non-league match, the host Richardson Eagles basketball team scored a good 74-64 triumph over the Plano Wildcats.
The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Lake Highlands went down by Horn (Mesquite, TX), 59-56, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Plano will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 59-52 non-league win over Andress (El Paso, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 14-3.
