Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Patrick Saints (Maysville, KY) and the host Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY), saw St. Patrick's basketball squad hold off Robertson County by a tally of 49-48.

With the victory, St. Patrick improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to confront the Polar Bears in a District 39 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-13.

Next up, the Black Devils confront the Covington Latin Trojans (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Robertson County will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
