California High School Basketball - Santa Maria knocked off by Valley Christian Academy

The Valley Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Santa Maria Saints to 65 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nipomo for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Valley Christian Academy will battle a Titans team coming off a 81-39 non-league win over San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Titans record now stands at 4-12.
The Saints (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Taft, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Taft ran past Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA), 78-77, in a non-league contest.
