West Virginia High School Basketball - Tolsia nips Sherman

December 28, 2023: Fort Gay, WV 25514

Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), 46-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tolsia upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rebels host Mingo Central (Matewan, WV) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Mingo Central lost 67-50 in their recent non-league bout against WestSide (Clear Fork, WV)

Next up, the Tide play the Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 42-36 non-league loss to Richwood (Richwood, WV).
