California High School Basketball - Morro Bay nudges Atascadero

Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA), 37-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morro Bay upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Pirates travel to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA) to clash with the Saints in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the San Luis Obispo Tigers (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Atascadero will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
