California High School Basketball - De La Salle knocked off by Serra

The Serra Padres basketball team scored 47 points and held the host De La Salle Spartans to 34 in the Padres non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Padres now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Serra will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-30 non-league win over Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Riordan ran past Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 51-38, in a non-league contest.
