The Norfork Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Alpena Leopards to 28 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Springs for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Norfork will meet a Tigers team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Kingston (Kingston, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 15-6.
The Leopards (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kingston (Kingston, AR). The Yellowjackets enter the 1A Region 1 East contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Kingston was routed by Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR), 62-52, in a non-league contest.
