In Thursday's non-league outing, the Varsity Opponent (, ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC), by a count of 58-16.
The (61-233) will now prepare for their outing against Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Hillsdale smashed Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI), 31-30, in a non-league outing.
The Indians now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Anacostia will clash with a Roughriders squad coming off a 66-13 league win over Cardozo (Washington, DC). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-3.
