Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bentworth ripped by South Side

The South Side Rams basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Bentworth Bearcats to 27 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rams now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Brighton for a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Wednesday, January 3. South Side will battle a Lions team coming off a 69-15 non-league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.
The Bearcats (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers enter the WPIAL 2A 4 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Chartiers-Houston was routed by Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA), 63-35, in a non-league contest.
