Texas High School Basketball - Early can't hold off Peaster

The Peaster Greyhounds basketball team scored 24 points and held the host Early Longhorns to 21 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Peaster will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 49-3 non-league loss to Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-13.
The Longhorns (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Greyhounds enter the 3A Region I District 8 contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Peaster nudged Bryson (Bryson, TX), 51-25, in a non-league contest.
