The Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Lawrence Cardinals to 47 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robbinsville for a Colonial Valley - Patriot contest on Tuesday, January 2. Hopewell Valley Central will battle a Ravens team coming off a 49-17 non-league win over Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Ravens record now stands at 3-2.

The Cardinals (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Blue Devils come into the Colonial Valley - Valley contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Ewing was nudged by Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ), 48-39, in a non-league contest.
