Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats (Jasper, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lima Christian Saints (Lima, NY), 69-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jasper-Troupsburg upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY) to play the Chargers in a Section 5 Steuben County bout on Thursday, January 4. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Saints play the Young Women's College Prep Griffins (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Private Parochial bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Lima Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Griffins come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 44-18 non-league win over Franklin (Rochester, NY).
