Ohio High School Basketball - Stryker topped by Montpelier

The Montpelier Locomotives basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Stryker Panthers to 35 in the Locomotives non-league victory on Thursday.
The Locomotives now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edon for a Buckeye Border contest on Friday, January 5. Montpelier will battle a Bombers team coming off a 51-28 non-league win over Hicksville (Hicksville, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 2-8.
The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Sherwood, OH). The Apaches come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Fairview dropped by Bryan (Bryan, OH), 66-52, in a non-league contest.
