Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tombstone Yellow Jackets (Tombstone, AZ), 54-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nogales upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Apaches travel to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ) to play the Caballeros in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Caballeros go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Flowing Wells won 63-50 in their recent non-league bout against Marana (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Catalina Trojans (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Tombstone will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 70-19 non-league loss to St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ).
