The Thetford Academy Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting White River Valley Wildcats to 34 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph for a Capital contest on Tuesday, January 2. Thetford Academy will meet a Ghosts team coming off a 48-20 league loss to Williamstown (Williamstown, VT). The Ghosts record now stands at 1-2.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, VT). The Cosmos enter the Marble Valley - B contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Springfield ran past Green Mountain (Chester, VT), 66-34, in a non-league contest.
