The Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) basketball crushed the host Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 59-24 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Elkton/Lake Benton walloped Baltic (Baltic, SD), 45-32, in a non-league test.
The Wolves now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Leola/Frederick for a B Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 2. Wilmot will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 49-31 non-league loss to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Titans record now stands at 2-2.
