The Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), 60-59 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Galena got by Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 52-46, in a non-league test.

The Greenwave now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lowry for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Churchill County will encounter a Buckaroos squad coming off a 52-46 non-league loss to Galena (Reno, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 4-6.
