Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH), 31-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lima Central Catholic upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ottawa-Glandorf won 46-26 in their recent non-league bout against Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Celina Bulldogs (Celina, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
