Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX), 55-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Aledo upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Joshua (Joshua, TX) to face the Owls in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Owls enter the match with a record of 9-9. Joshua won 68-54 in their recent non-league match against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX)

The Mavericks now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joshua for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Memorial will face a Owls squad coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Owls record now stands at 9-10.
